Organic Meals

Pop’s Place and Options Center have partnered together to offer organic meals that are dairy, soy and gluten free.


Great for anyone interested in healthy, clean eating.


Pop’s Place will do all the shopping, prep work, bagging and freezing of the meals. Several options each month are fully cooked so only need thawing and warming-up. Each of the 8 meals serves 6. Frozen in 2-3 serving packages so all 6 servings don’t have to be used at once.

 

October Menu:

Turkey Italian Bowl (fully cooked) w/Zucchini Noodles

Ingredients: Turkey, tomatoes, onion, green pepper, garlic, seasoning Serving size: 2/3 cup + 1/4 cup zucchini noodles

Cooking directions: Thaw overnight or thaw in room temperature water for at least 20 minutes. Heat thoroughly. Serve over zucchini noodles. Noodles can be thawed & used raw or steam 1-2 minutes.

Pulled Chicken Ragu (fully cooked) w/Zucchini Noodles

Ingredients: Chicken, olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, red peppers, seasonings, zucchini or squash Serving size: ½ cup sauce + ½ cup zucchini or squash

Cooking directions: Thaw sauce & heat thoroughly; serve over noodles. Noodles can be thawed & used raw or steam 1-2 mins.

Chicken A la King (fully cooked) over Quinoa

Ingredients: Chicken, mushrooms, chicken stock, green pepper, onion, garlic, celery, carrot, peas Serving size:1/2 cup + 1/4 cup quinoa

Cooking directions: Thaw and heat; serve over quinoa. For quinoa- boil 2 cups water or broth; add quinoa & simmer about 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.

Chicken Taco bowl (fully cooked) w/Quinoa

Ingredients: Chicken, onion, celery, garlic, cumin, chili powder Serving size: 1/3 cup + 1/4 cup quinoa

Cooking directions: Thaw and heat; serve over quinoa. For quinoa- boil 2 cups water or broth; add quinoa & simmer about 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.

Vegetarian Ratatouille (fully cooked)

Ingredients: Tomatoes, tomato sauce, eggplant, zucchini, onion, basil, garlic, Kalamata olives Serving size: about 1 ¼ cups

Cooking directions: Thaw and heat thoroughly. *suggestion: serve with feta cheese or cheese substitute

Beef Chili (fully cooked)

Ingredients:Beef, black beans, tomatoes, garlic, onion, cumin, chili seasoning, green pepper, celery Serving size: 1 cup

Cooking directions: Thaw overnight or in room temperature water for at least 20 minutes. Heat thoroughly.

Beef Gumbo (fully cooked)

Ingredients: Beef, black beans, carrots, tomatoes, quinoa, green pepper, celery, beef stock, seasonings Serving size: 1 cup

Cooking directions: Thaw overnight or in room temperature water for at least 20 minutes. Heat thoroughly.

Sneaky Meatballs (meatballs uncooked, sauce cooked) w/ Seasoned Veggies

Ingredients: Beef, carrots, onions, garlic, eggs, ground flax seed Serving Size: 4 meatballs

Cooking directions: Thaw for 24 hours. Bake @ 350◦F for 10-15 minutes. Thaw sauce & heat thoroughly; mix with meatballs. *suggestion- serve with fresh salad

PLACE ORDER: Orders must be placed before 10:00 AM on Th, Oct. 19, 2017.

COST: The cost of $248 covers all 8 meals. You may order any number of meals at $31 per meal. You can also order ½ meal portions.
